Full Members = Operating accommodation businesses
Associate Members = Developing accommodation businesses
Affiliate Members = Suppliers or goods or services to the industry
Notes on completing the Online Application Form for Full Membership
The Application Form is presented on a number of screens. You have the option of completing the form in one go, or saving and re-entering from any of the screens using the reference number issued to you at the top of the form. Once you have submitted the final screen you will not be able to re-enter the form to edit it. Information you provide about your property will form the basis of your website listing when your membership is approved. When your listing is active you will be issued with a login and password at which point you can edit all information.
Compliance with BBFAA Quality Standards
BBFAA requires applicants for membership to demonstrate that they comply with its standards of quality and to agree to abide by its Code fo Conduct. The BBFAA quality standards are detailed in the Self Assessment Report. However, BBFAA will accept a AAAT STAR rating of 3 Stars and above, and/or accreditation under the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program (ATAP) as acceptable standards. Other applicants must submit a completed Self Assessment Report.
