BBFAA is the recognised peak industry organisation representing bed and breakfast, farmstay, guest house/boutique hotel, cottage and self-catering accommodation. It was formed in October 2008 to unite the industry across Australia.
Our aim is to help you to provide the very best possible standard of service and accommodation to your guests. You will benefit by being a member of a flourishing and sustainable industry and by having access to marketing opportunities, benefits, savings and services that are not available to individual operators.
Over the years, the requirements that our members have of their industry association have changed. In part this has resulted from the rapid development of the Internet as a marketing tool in place of printed brochures. We have listened to the members and we believe that the new national organisation meets members' expectations of a truly national representative organisation. This fully automated, contemporary website, with easy accommodation searches and a range of industry information is a fresh approach to association websites.

Developing businesses and industry affliated businesses may apply for Associate Members.
Associate Membership is offered to people who are developing an accommodation business that will comply with the criteria for full membership of HAA.
. Businesses who are in operation must apply for Full Membership. Associate members in this category can upgrade to Full Membership once the business is open.
Application for Affiliate Membership is invited from suppliers of goods and services. *Please note: Affiliate Membership will not be granted to businesses whose website lists or promotes accommodation businesses other than those of HAA members.
