Tjaynera (Sandy Creek) Falls in the Litchfield National Park at the Australian Top End Northern Territory Australia.

Pass through the Mining Town of Batchelor on the way to Litchfield National Park and see the spectacular Tjaynera (Sandy Creek) Falls forty five kilometres south of Darwin.

The Falls are only accessible by 4wd and open between May to November and the reward is an uncrowded plunge pool.

The Litchfield National Park is well worth exploring and contains monsoonal rainforest, spring-fed streams and magnificent waterfalls cascading from the plateau of the Tabletop Mountain Range.
