Kings Canyon Central Australian Outback Northern Territory Tourism

Kings Canyon is in the Watarrka National Park and is part of the George Gill Range. 330 kms from Alice Springs on the Mereenie Loop Road, it a spectacular diversion on the way to Uluru (Ayers Rock).

Find the time to do the 2 - 3 hour walk around the rim of Kings Canyon, visiting the ancient rock formations of The Lost City and The Garden of Eden which is an oasis of permanent waterholes surround by palms and ferns.

The view from the top of Kings Canyon to the valley below is breathtaking and well worth the effort.
